  Anne Arundel County police said the letters were sent last Thursday — the day of the shootings that killed five people at the Annapolis, Maryland, newspaper — and signed by Jarrod W. Ramos, the shotgun-toting suspect alleged to have fired the fatal shots. Ramos, 38, is being held without bond on five counts of murder after surrendering to police at the Capital Gazette.
