FORECAST IN DETAIL It’s feeling like winter today, but that feeling won’t last long. Warmer air starts to come back into the area for Super Bowl Sunday. And once warmth arrives, we should see those conditions for the first half of the week. During that time, there is no significant storm risk. Today (Saturday): It’s a cold start and we don’t warm up all that much. The good news is sunshine should be abundant, although some overnight clouds could linger into the morning. In the end, most of the day should be quite cloud free as highs reach the upper 30s to lower 40s. There may be a noticeable increase in cloudiness once again as we get toward sunset. Winds are out of the north and northwest around 10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High Tonight: Clouds increase and thicken overnight. This helps put a bit of a cap on temperatures. Much of the fall may come early, especially if clouds are slow to arrive and clearer skies remain in the evening. Most spots should make the 20s, which might be around 30 in the city. Confidence: Medium-High |
