FORECAST IN DETAIL

Clouds are few and far between for the next five days. We get an uncharacteristic chilly day Saturday with many areas seeing a freeze that night. The rest of the time seasonably mild is the name of the game. A little breezy for those enjoying Veterans Day but still a fine day to be off. All the clear skies make it perfect for viewing the most super of super full moons Sunday into Monday.

Today (Thursday): The tail end of the cloud cover should be pulling out by sunrise and the rest of the day should be sun-filled. Temperatures are relatively comfortable in the upper 50s to lower 60s. A northwest breeze is light enough to keep from being a nuisance. Confidence: High

Tonight: Skies remain star filled with light west winds. Lows slip to near 40 in our colder suburbs to the mid-40s downtown. Confidence: High

Tomorrow (Veterans Day): A sunshiny mild day to enjoy for those having the day off and even for those still working! Highs climb to the low-to-mid 60s. The only mar to the day is a gusty northwest wind (up to 25 mph). Confidence: High

Tomorrow night: Mainly clear skies dominate with breezes still moderate in the evening but calming later. This allows temps to drop fast and lows reach the 30s throughout the region. Confidence: High

A LOOK AHEAD

Saturday is on the chilly side, even with full sun. Highs are only in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Winds are light and calm further overnight allowing temps to plummet. Lows range from the mid-to-upper 20s in our colder areas to the low 30s in the city. Confidence: High

Seasonable temps return Sunday with light breezes and plenty of sunshine. Highs reach the upper 50s to lower 60s. The clear evening affords super supermoon viewing. Overnight lows drop to the low-to-mid 30s suburbs to upper 30s downtown. Confidence: Medium-High

Monday finally sees more in the way of clouds but mostly just high ones so enough sun still filters through for highs to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s. Confidence: Medium
