FORECAST IN DETAIL The transition between seasons are challenging times for a forecaster. The weather often flips easily between what feel like complete opposites. We’re totally in that phase now — today’s warmth collapses into late-winter chill by tomorrow and lingers into Friday morning. By the weekend, we should see spring return with showers to quench our thirsty soil. Today (Tuesday): A few early morning showers are possible, especially south and east of the city. Otherwise, cloudy conditions should dominate the morning, giving way to partly cloudy weather this afternoon. Assuming we get the sunshine, temperatures warm strongly into the 60s. There’s a chance, though, that clouds will stick around which will keep highs cooler. Light winds blow from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: High Tonight: Partly cloudy overnight and things turn cooler. Look for lows in the 30s in most of the area with right around 40 in the city. Breezes blow from the northwest again at 5-10 mph. Confidence: High Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for the latest updates. For related traffic news, check out Dr. Gridlock.
