Good Friday morning! I hope you have a great weekend. But first, here's the digest:

1. Gov. Mark Dayton and top legislative leaders are scheduled to meet this morning to resume negotiations for a possible special session this summer. They still want another crack at a tax bill and a bonding bill. (StarTribune)

2. Minnesota's teacher tenure laws are being challenging in court. There was a hearing Thursday in Ramsey County District Court. (MPR News)

3. Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump postponed his running mate announcement planned for today due to the mass casualty attack in France. Trump's pick is reportedly Indiana Gov. Mike Pence. (New York Times)

4. The Republican National Convention gets underway in Cleveland next week, and many party insiders say they think there could be some trouble. (Politico)

5. The polls show a close race. But presumptive Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is far ahead of Donald Trump when it comes to spending on campaign advertising. (AP)
