Awareness Breaks | Capricorn Horoscope February 5, 2020 You could find it easy to lose track of time because you may be consumed by your tasks today. It might be that your interest in what you are engaged in mesmerizes you, and there is nothing else you would rather be doing. Even though it is worthwhile to give your work your full attention, it might be a good idea to take a few "awareness breaks" today. Every hour or so you can schedule time for a break and get away from your tasks. As you are resting, you might consider closing your eyes and reflecting upon what you have just done. You could ask yourself what you have accomplished during the past few hours or how your work fits into your overall goals in life. Thinking about your work in this way may help you work with a greater level of awareness throughout the day. Reflecting upon what we do allows us to see the value of our work. When we are in flow, time seems to fly and we aren't really conscious of what we are doing. The state of flow is a positive place, but it can verge on the compulsive if we do not apply some measure of awareness to what we do. Being attentive brings us back to the purpose of our work, which means that we work not simply for the sake of working but for the joy it brings.
