You may find yourself feeling a desire to spend money recklessly or take action before fully considering the consequences. By choosing to detach from your emotions and foster a more relaxed state of mind, you will be able to develop a stronger sense of patience and foresight that can help you to make more conscious decisions. Simply take some time to be alone and get into a meditative state. Release all worrisome thoughts from your mind, and release all tension from your body. Then affirm mentally that all is well and that you feel calm and centered, complete and whole, exactly as you are today. You should then feel more settled and able to calmly choose your actions without acting hastily. We can make more conscious decisions by calming our emotions and adopting a more peaceful mind-set. We often allow our emotional impulses to be expressed through our physical actions in an effort to ease the feelings of pressure within us. If we instead choose to detach from the intensity of our emotions and adopt a more peaceful state of mind, we won't feel so driven to make impulsive decisions, and we can better determine the actions that would result in favorable consequences. We are then able to make wise, conscious decisions that will create more beneficial circumstances in our lives.
