It might seem that others are thwarting your efforts today, and this could compel you to look within to see what you might have done to create this situation. Reflecting upon the actions that you have taken and how those actions affect the people around you could provide you with the insight you need to remedy the situation. Perhaps today you can do a freewrite -- writing continuously without stopping -- about the problem at hand, letting your subconscious tell you what has happened and the role you had to play in it. Freewriting may make it easier for you to assess your actions honestly because by bringing your thoughts to the foreground you are less likely to censor yourself and more apt to see the patterns of your behavior that led to the situation.

Getting in touch with the truth of our actions allows us to look at ourselves openly. It can be easy for us to rationalize our words, actions, and emotions when we simply reflect on what has occurred. True introspection, however, involves being able to see the full extent of our actions -- both the positive and negative -- and to accept that picture in its entirety without trying to fit our view of ourselves into an ideal. Admitting our flaws and being honest with ourselves can then bring us to a greater understanding of who we are and how we function in our relationships. Look within honestly today, and you will be able to see and accept who you truly are.
