You may be the mediator today in family challenges or conflicts among close friends or co-workers. Because your goal is to calm the emotions of those in the situation and to comfort those that are hurt, you may be able to pull everyone back to center. It takes a person who is able to see the whole picture and understand different points of view to stop a situation from escalating. Often such conflicts are based on emotional reactions to misunderstood words or intentions. By remaining calm yourself and helping to translate what others are trying to say, but perhaps doing so poorly, you can bridge the gaps in understanding that cause confusion and hurt feelings. Today, you can help keep peace between those around you and help them work toward positive resolution.

You may have gained this ability from the practice of going within and rising above your own emotions to see situations from a higher perspective. Doing this regularly helps you to access your higher self in daily life, and to remember that emotions are transitory. It is not unselfish to act to bring peace to those around you, because then you are able to be in a peaceful environment, which is better for everyone involved. By sharing your experience, you may end up becoming more than a mediator, but an example for others to follow. In the process you may be able to teach them how to live peacefully together today and every day.
