A melancholy mood may have you seeking ways to be alone today. You may feel a sense of heaviness in your heart, and though you may want to withdraw, it may not be the best thing for you. Instead, your depression may be eased by the presence of caring friends and family. There are times when being alone allows us to wallow in our worries and woes, whereas being with others distracts us from ourselves and helps us to shift our focus to someone else's life. Sometimes the most difficult thing to do when we are feeling low is to reach out for help. But if we allow our emotions to snowball, it can become increasingly difficult to ask for assistance.
