You might feel uncertain about aspects of your relationships today or hesitant to put your trust in new people that you meet. You might consider whether these feelings are caused by the actions of others or your own feelings of insecurity. If previous circumstances have caused you to become mistrustful of others, you can choose to work through these issues and release them so that they don't cloud your perceptions. One way to do this is to see if memories of past experiences come up when you feel mistrustful. Simply make a conscious choice to release yourself from the bondage of that memory. The past is over and done with. Allow your experiences with people today to be unaffected by your past.

Releasing the baggage from our past allows us to move forward unencumbered. As we move through life, our experiences become a part of who we are. Though our positive experiences usually build us up, our painful experiences can weigh us down if we don't process and release them properly. Once we become aware that echoes from the past are unduly influencing us, we can make a conscious decision to release the emotional hold of betrayals, hurts, and disappointments we may have experienced. Doing so will immediately make us feel lighter and freer, and we are then able to devote our full attention to our current life experiences. Letting go of any old issues that are limiting you today will have a beneficial impact on your life and relationships.
