Your body may give you a signal, such as tightness in your abdomen or a sense of openness, which can tell you what you should do. Trusting your own intuition might help you decide when to confide in others. Understanding how to trust ourselves is the best way to place our trust in others. Keeping things to ourselves is not always the best form of protection since it might cause other people to want to dig deeper into our thoughts and feelings, which will create an even greater violation of our trust.
