Uneasily Emotional | Capricorn Horoscope June 18, 2017 You may be emotional because family relationships have you feeling uneasy. Worries about an upcoming gathering or impending event may bring up old hurts and concerns. Since family is important to us, whether we admit it or not, it has the ability to affect us deeply perhaps because of expectations of the concept of family or because we are still connected to the part of us from long ago that needed our families and our tribes to survive. Subconsciously, there may be a part of us that still believes that exile from family is the equivalent to being left to survive in the wilderness, tantamount to death. Though today we don\'t need our families for survival, there may be a sense of connection that isn\'t easily denied. Accepting this, you can allow yourself to feel emotional today and know that at the same time, you are okay. Our families connect us to our history and help make up our identities. Rejection by our families may mean death of an identity and require its rebuilding on a new foundation. We would rather be accepted and loved by them than not, but sometimes that is not possible. We can see them as teachers of our greatest lessons, because we learn how to interact with others from their example. Sometimes we learn that we would like to make different choices.
