You might find that you have been comparing your life to the lives of others around you, which might leave you feeling that your life is lacking in some way. Today you may want to work on understanding that your life is full just as it is. You can do so by learning to see that all of us are on par with each other because we share the same universal spirit. Try imagining that you have golden seed placed inside of you. As you go about your day, picture others with the same seed inside them. While at first it might seem that some people have deeper roots or more leaves growing from their seed, you can remind yourself that this seed is what makes us all equal and that because of it we all have the same potential. Seeing that we are all equal allows us to recognize that there is nothing lacking in our lives. Once we understand that all of us are part of the same spirit, we can let go of our need to compare our lives with those of other people. Envying someone because they possess more material resources than us allows us to only see the superficial. But outer appearances do not necessarily point to spiritual wealth. Comparing ourselves with others in this way will always result in a feeling of lack.
