Best Time of Day to Eat Carbs

When Is the Best Time of Day to Eat Carbs?

Beyond the great debate about how many carbs we should be eating, there is another question you might be wondering about: When is the best time of day to eat carbs? A Keto Reset is probably going to impact your health and body composition more than changing the timing of your carb intake. Still, I know many of you are self-experimenters and optimizers. You like to explore ways to squeeze a little more “edge” out of your diet and lifestyle. For some of you, nutrient timing might be the key to resolving a nagging issue that hasn’t been fixed by diet and lifestyle changes. If this is something you’re curious about, read on.

Keto Berry Quarantini

Keto Quarantini: Berry Hard Seltzer with Collagen

You can mix up this hard seltzer recipe with ingredients you have in your pantry and whatever liquor you might have in your stash. As a bonus, our keto hard seltzer recipe is a refreshing back-porch treat that stretches your buck a bit more (those store-bought keto-friendly hard seltzers can be spendy). Switch up the ingredients to suit your tastes and whatever you have in your pantry.

Mix collagen and water together with a spoon. Don't worry about getting any clumps out. Let set for 5 minutes. Stir monk fruit into the collagen water and mix until combined. Add mezcal, if you want to make the seltzer "hard" (if you want a mocktail, leave it out). Strain into a serving glass, and add a splash of club soda to the drink. Serve with garnish of choice, FaceTime a friend, and sip.
