Figures released today from the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency have shown that Northern Ireland care homes had ten covid related deaths in the period between October 24 and 30. The last time this number of deaths was recorded in care homes was at the end of May.

Writing in the News Letter Peter Robinson has said the NI Executive needs a new strategy to tackle coronavirus. The former DUP leader says that “a hokey-cokey approach to lockdowns cannot be the answer”.
