A smart home is a residence equipped with Internet-connected devices. These devices are also known as Internet of Things (IoT) and it allows for remote management and monitoring of various appliances and home systems. From lighting, entertainment, and security, these devices can be controlled remotely through smartphones, voice-activated assistants, or computers. Customization based on user preferences are available for these devices while they enable automation for daily tasks.
