Regenerative agriculture is emerging as a viable way to address the food system’s environmental impacts by supporting soil health with techniques including crop rotation, use of cover crops and reduced or no tillage. But it is often difficult for farmers to initiate these practices.
To support these efforts, Cargill has developed the RegenConnect® program to boost use of regenerative practices in North America and the world, help farmers become more resilient and assist brands that source the ingredients produced with their Scope 3 emission goals.
