Carolina Crossroads project receives key federal approval

The U.S Army Corps of Engineers has granted the project a permit which will enable all five phases of construction to move forward. The $1.6 million initiative is reconfiguring the intersection of interstates 20, 26 and 126.

Furniture company expanding Marion County operations

Family-owned Maxwood Furniture is investing $5.8 million to open a second facility in a move expected to create 30 jobs. The expansion is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

West Columbia receives financial wellness grant

The city of West Columbia and the town of Springdale will use the $20,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation to offer classes and provide training materials to more than 250 government employees.
