Everyone's welcome to celebrate Christmas in style at St James's Piccadilly. Its Carols for All, Carols by Candlelight and Carols for Shoppers are hugely popular staples of the festive calendar, usually selling out in advance.
St James's Piccadilly is particularly special for its focus on inclusivity. Through its Christmas for All programme, Londoners and visitors of all faiths (and indeed none) are warmly welcomed into the church. Celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with Barbara and Venetia’s Christmas cabaret of comedy and jazz classics (28 November), or support young musicians at the St James’s Music Scholars Christmas Concert (8 December), featuring works from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Like your festivities with a touch of glam? The Christmas for All Gala (3 December) is a star-studded fundraising event with seasonal music by The Sixteen, St James’s Chamber Orchestra, and readings by well-known actors. And while there are usually a few celebs in the audience, affordably priced tickets make this accessible to anyone who wants to come.

Here’s a festive theatre trip the whole family will love. Christmas Comes To Moominvalley is Jacksons Lane’s adaptation of The Fir Tree by Tove Jansson. It's got breathtaking circus acts, enchanting storytelling, and stunning visuals, plus all your favourite Moomin characters — nostalgic fun for the adults, and a magical introduction for the kids.

Visionary vocalist Heemoon Lee (formerly of SsingSsing) brings his wildly entertaining band OBANGSINGWA to the Southbank Centre on Saturday 23 November for raucous, humour-filled gig — part of K Music Festival 2024, in partnership with the EFG London Jazz Festival. It’s a chance to discover new album SPANGLE, which blends Korean folk songs (Minyo) with jitterbug, rock, blues, and more.

This Friday and Saturday, Sainsbury's is serving up a fantastically Christmassy dining experience, inspired by Roald Dahl's iconic BFG (star of their festive ads!). Expect an array of party food, desserts for starters and a whole lot of Christmas magic for adults and kids alike at Sainsbury's Big Friendly Feast.
