Set in 1992, the project tells the true story of Dominican immigrant Lucrecia Pérez, who was brutally murdered by four neo-Nazis while living in Madrid. The attack was the first case of racism and xenophobia recognized by the Spanish State.
LA RESERVA / THE RESERVE

La Reserva follows the director and its protagonist as they build the plot of a rural thriller in La Pampa, a region marked by the genocide of the indigenous population and the expropriation of their land. LES CULPABLES

After having an abortion as a teenager and having shrouded it in silence for seven years, Marta collects the anonymous testimonies of women who have gone through the same thing as her. Willing to break the silence and taboo around it, she embarks on a creative process with teenage girls who have recently had abortions to bring all these stories to the screen.

Khadijeh, an old Kurdistan woman from a remote village, on the eve of her daughter’s migration to Europe, finds a stork with a broken wing. She tries to heal it before its flock flies away to migrate.

Catalan projects at Kabia


The San Sebastian International Film Festival is promoting Kabia, a new event dedicated to emergent film talent that will welcome projects from different programs. 

The  Script Residency of the Catalan Film Academy  directed by Carla Simón, will be one of the initiatives that will present their 8 unique and curated projects!
