Times Past

Making news on this day in 1995, was the unfortunate vandalism of a much-loved wall sculpture in Commonwealth Park. "Shadow of a Doubt" was created by Peter Vandermark for 1991's Floriade. The sculpture was located near Regatta Point and used mud bricks to form the shape of a question mark when viewed from above. The decision was made to keep the piece on display after Floriade wrapped up, due to its popularity. READ MORE
