Remembrance Day | |
On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare, bringing an end to the First World War. A peaceful time for reflection as a community, today gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude for all who have and those who continue to serve. Tune in across the day for our special coverage and stream the Remembrance Day Service live from the Shrine on their Facebook page.
Last week Richelle Hunt was joined by Dean Lee (CEO of the Shrine of Remembrance) to the significance and traditions of Remembrance Day. | |
