Good morning,

Commonwealth Bank boss Matt Comyn has come out swinging against technology giants, including Apple, saying they required further regulation, as he labelled them “free riders” and warned big banks were cross-subsidising payments infrastructure.

Meanwhile, companies linked to Mineral Resources managing director Chris Ellison’s daughter were asked to repay $158,000 they received in ‘rent relief’, the miner has revealed.

And the Hearts & Minds Investments chair Chris Cuffe is hoping for the six-year-old fund, which gives 1.5 per cent of its assets to medical research charities each year, to grow from $800m to more than $1.5bn in the next five years. It comes as some of the world's top money managers will reveal their stock tips at the Sohn Hearts & Minds conference in Adelaide today.
