ACDIS is pleased to announce that 2022 will ring in a new certification partner to help us administer our industry-leading Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) and CCDS-O (outpatient) exams.
Prometric is a global leader providing end-to-end assessment services and solutions to certification and licensure bodies and educational institutions worldwide. Starting Jan. 1, all ACDIS exams will be administered by Prometric.
This change does not impact the content of the CCDS or CCDS-O exams, but will allow examinees to test from home, via remote proctoring. Remote proctoring allows candidates to take an exam under supervision of a proctor through a webcam.Candidates may still take the exam traditionally in Prometric’s computer-based testing network.
As a result of this change our test-scheduling interface will appear different, but remains simple and intuitive to use. |
Need some extra study time? The perfect CCDS Exam prep resource is available! | Consider the CCDS Exam Study Guide before scheduling your exam.
This new version includes updates related to changes in Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting, Coding Clinic ICD-10-CM/PCS recommendations, new query practice guidance from ACDIS/AHIMA “Guidelines for Achieving a Compliant Query Practice,” and information on emerging CDI activities related to clinical validation and record reviews for quality-of-care concerns. |
