Situational Analysis | Oct. 18, 2024 It's Thursday and National Chocolate Cupcake Day! There are 18 days until Election Day. Happy birthday to Sen. Curt Bramble and Sen. David Hinkins! ðð ð What you need to know - During last night's debate between CD3 candidates, state Sen. Mike Kennedy, the Republican nominee to replace Rep. John Curtis, pitched himself as a legislative problem solver, willing to work with anybody to find solutions on debt, welfare and immigration, while former Summit County Councilman Glenn Wright, the Democratic candidate, said Kennedy can't be trusted to vote independently because of his support for former President Donald Trump. The candidates did agree on the need to return to regular order budgeting and to reform federal welfare programs.
