Gov. Spencer Cox appoints Kasey Wright to the Fourth District Court
Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox has appointed Kasey Wright to the Fourth District Court, filling a vacancy created by Judge James Bradyâs retirement. Judicial appointments are subject to confirmation by the Utah Senate.
Kasey Wright is a justice-focused attorney with extensive legal experience, representing and counseling clients in a wide range of legal disciplines. For nearly 20 years, Wright worked for the firm of Hansen Wright where he specialized in civil litigation and municipal representation. During the last 6 years, Wright has been honored to represent Central Valley Medical Center, Nephi City, Juab School District, and Jackson Infrastructure in Juab County. (Read More)
Utah Senate requests public comment on 4th District Court appointee
The Utah Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee is seeking public comment on Kasey Wright. He was appointed by Gov. Spencer J. Cox to serve as a judge in the 4th District Court.

UVU cuts ribbon on new dental hygienist training lab in Lehi
Utah Valley University (UVU) celebrated the ribbon cutting of its new 24-seat dental hygiene lab and community clinic on the universityâs Lehi Campus last night, which will be used to train dental hygienists and provide free and low-cost care to approximately 3,000 low-income community members.
Prior to the new facility, the dental hygiene program only had access to 15 chairs-workstations, now there are 24, making it possible to train more students. In addition to the lab, the universityâs respiratory therapy program and Police Academy â Peace Officer Standard and Training programs, will be housed in the building providing extra space and workstations.
