CDI achievement award nominations due July 30!

The annual ACDIS Achievement Awards were created to help recognize the innovative ways that individuals lean into the CDI profession, not only to advance their own careers, but to help their colleagues and their organizations advance the mission of clinical documentation integrity—helping to ensure the overall integrity of the medical record. Recognition of Professional Achievement
Excellence in Provider Engagement
Rookie of the Year
NEW: Diversity in CDI Award

ACDIS encourages CDI teams to get together and discuss the awards, pooling resources to determine if anyone of their staff fit the criteria. The deadline has been extended to Friday, July 30!

If a CDI staff, manager, physician advisor, or other related professional goes above and beyond their daily duties to advance the CDI profession, help their colleagues, and move the needle on CDI outcomes at your facility consider nominating them for one of this year’s honors.

The nomination process is fairly simple:

Review the award criteria
Gather some basic information about the nominee
1. Credentials, job title, short bio
2. Resume + photo (if possible)
3. Reason for nomination

Note, the new Diversity in CDI Award includes additional questions related to the overall organization, so be sure to review the award criteria before beginning the nomination process.

The ACDIS Events Committee will review all the nominations and select finalists. At that point, you’ll be asked let your colleagues know about their nomination allowing them to submit additional details for evaluation if required.

The ACDIS Professional of the Year Award winner receives complimentary admission to the ACDIS 2021 Conference in Dallas this October.

We know there are incredible folks nationwide doing groundbreaking work in the field and we can't wait to honor them!
