It is our hope this experience offers lots of opportunity for self-reflection and for exploring different perspectives, ideas, and realities with those around you. We invite you to be part of the prototyping process by offering feedback about the early concepts staged in this gallery over the next year. Three themes will be explored: Identity, Thinking, and Feeling. The information we gather from these concepts will help shape our brand new exhibit, opening within the next few years. | | Identity Our sense of self, our identities, and our interactions as a community are informed by genetic, environmental, and interpersonal dynamics. Examine the variables that shape your physical, psychological, cultural, and social identities. | | | School's Out Science Camp | | | When JCPS is out, science is in! Keep the learning going all year long with School's Out Science Camps at Kentucky Science Center. On November 4 and 5, learn if you have what it takes to become a scientist as we perform experiments, explore our senses, and investigate the science behind all things big and small. Camp Dates: November 4 & 5 Camp Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Drop-off: 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Pick-up: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. November 4 & 5 camp themes include: Sensory Explorers, Be a Scientist, Chem Artistry, and Science of the Small. | | | | | | | | Share Your Science Center Stories with Us! | | Did you know that we have ice cream lasers in Science in Play? These kids discovered them this week (cleverly disguised as safety cones). They come in various flavors and help the UPS drivers deliver packages super fast and keep away the bad guys! We love seeing imagination at work! | | | | | We want to hear your stories! Share with us and we may feature you in a future newsletter! How can you share your stories?
