Bring Home the Fourth of July with A Capitol Fourth

This year marks the 43rd annual edition of A Capitol Fourth, which will feature an exciting, eclectic musical lineup and spectacular fireworks. Hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, this year’s line-up of performers includes Babyface; Belinda Carlisle; Boyz II Men; Chicago; Charles Esten; Renée Fleming; Maddie & Tae; the cast from Broadway’s The Neil Diamond Musical: A Beautiful Noise; the Northwell Health Nurse Choir of frontline workers; and the National Symphony Orchestra. Catch all the fireworks on July 4 at 8pm and 9:30pm on KQED 9, or stream it on KQED Passport for a limited time from July 4 to July 18.

KQED Receives Murrow and Emmy® Awards

KQED was honored with three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA). RTDNA is the world’s largest professional organization devoted exclusively to broadcast and digital journalism. Awards include:
