Get ready for a fun-fueled day full of our favorite maker activities from the past year (and maybe a few new surprises) as we build, tinker, and create our way throughout the science center. Hone new skills as you engage with local makers, tinkerers, and artists as we explore everything maker! All activities are included in the general admission price. |

| We are starting off Make Your Season with a tribute to how we can all make the world a better place. Thanks to our partners at Rumpke and students from Louisville Male High School, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, featuring a boat made out of reused bottles is now featured in the World Around Us. The Male High School students constructed an actual floating boat made from nearly 3,000 plastic bottles that were collected in just four short months. Take a trip to the North Pole as you spend your evening watching the holiday classic, Polar Express, in spectacular 3D. | Tuesday, December 17 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. It’s party time: our annual FREE members-only family science night is Tuesday, December 17. Play in the exhibits after hours, experience activities and demos that we don’t bring out every day, enjoy discounted tickets to Polar Express 3D on the giant screen, eat pizza and snacks, and enter to win great prizes! Science with a Twist |

| Saturday, February 1, 2020 7:00 - 11:00 p.m. Science With a Twist is Kentucky Science Center’s annual fundraising event. TWIST is the science center’s innovative and amazingly fun “twist” or deviation from the standard black-tie gala giving adults the opportunity to fully engage in our exhibits and specially curated activities. The evening piques the kid-like curiosity and invention of adults while raising money to support educational programming throughout the year. Guests will explore and play in the exhibits and experience hands-on activities while enjoying signature cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres and themed desserts. |
