Mother's Day Brunch
We are also hosting our annual Mother's Day Brunch Sunday, May 14! We'll be serving up a delicious à la carte menu, as well as mimosas, and of course - wine. Each honoree will receive a beautiful flower upon entry to show our appreciation!

Meet Chef Mike Ellig!
 
Have you had a chance to say hello to Chef Mike? He's the one responsible for our fantastic new menu and delicious and unique specials!

More about Head Chef Mike Ellig:

Mike grew up in Kennewick, Wash., where he spent most of his childhood into his adult years playing golf. In 2007, he set off to Arizona to play college golf and after graduating with an AA in Business Management, decided to switch gears and work as a prep cook at 5 Diamond Resort. He moved back to Kennewick in 2008 where he continued his passion for food, eventually landing at Ice Harbor Brewery at The Marina where he became Head Chef. He later worked at Player’s Sports Bar as a Food Creator and spent two years developing popular dishes and working in management.

Currently, Mike is our Head Chef at the Kitchen at Desert Wind, where he looks forward to continuing to expand and grow our culinary offerings. He prides himself on his work ethic, pursuing his culinary dream, and creating a restaurant experience that people want to return to time and time again.

Upcoming Events at Desert Wind

The Educated Cigar + DJ ZLUCK
Thursday, May 11 · 5 - 8pm

The Educated Cigar is coming to our patio to give you an outstanding cigar experience on Thursday, May 11 from 5-8pm! They offer a full-service, traveling 'cigar bar' with more than 100 of the world's highest-rated cigars. In addition, we’ll have the great DJ ZLuck spinning his favorite beats onsite! You're not going to want to miss this experience.

Reservations are welcome, but not required. 

Trivia Night at Desert Wind
Friday, May 12 · 6 - 8pm

Trivia night is back at Desert Wind – this time hosted by Heat Entertainment.
There will be 10 rounds of 7 questions, including a photo, video, and audio round. We suggest teams of 2 to 6 players. No phones allowed. If you're planning on ordering delicious food and drinks, please try and arrive early, so you'll be ready to go!

No Cover. Reservations are highly recommended but are not required. 

Mother's Day Brunch at Desert Wind
Sunday, May 14 · 11am - 3pm

Celebrate Mother's Day by joining us for a special brunch in honor of the mother figures in your life on Sunday, May 14! We'll be serving up a delicious à la carte menu, as well as mimosas, and of course - wine. Each honoree will receive a beautiful flower upon entry to show our appreciation!

Friday, May 26 · 5 - 8pm

Gabe Knutzen is back at Desert Wind. Stop by for a fun evening of music, wine, cocktails, and food!
