Our Summer Bash Online Auction Ends on Sunday! New Items Added

Whether you're joining us at Foodwise Summer Bash or not, you can bid on 42 exciting packages in our online auction, while supporting Foodwise's education programs. Tomorrow! Screen-Printing Demo & Poster Pop-Up

Foodwise is excited to partner with The Haight Street Art Center for a farmworker awareness poster art pop-up at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market tomorrow, 9 am to 1 pm. See screen-printing in action and take home a free poster designed by artist Oscar Lopez.

Foodwise Talk: Reimagining San Francisco Green Spaces

Join Foodwise and Reimagining San Francisco at the California Academy of Sciences on Tuesday, August 6, to discuss the impact and importance of increasing our city’s climate-wise, biodiverse, and equitable green space.

At the Foodwise Classroom, Micah Siva, author of Nosh, shared her recipe for tabbouleh using blueberries in place of pomegranate arils for a summer spin.

Mission Community Market: Featured Vendors

Multi-generation farm Winters Fruit Tree brings a variety of stone fruit, nuts, and eggs to the Mission Community Market and the Ferry Plaza on Saturdays.

Fraternite Notre Dame offers handcrafted pastries, quiches, jams and more, with proceeds supporting their charitable work feeding community members in need at their soup kitchen.
