Hi John,
In 1954, a group of local educators had the radical idea that high-quality media should be available to everyone in our community for free. Out of this vision, KQED was born.
Now, 70 years later, we’re kicking off our February radio drive and raising funds to ensure KQED remains an accessible source for free and local news coverage at a time when many local news outlets are disappearing due to lack of funding.
You can help ensure KQED is here for generations to come by making a gift today! We have big dreams for the future, and we need your help to continue delivering objective, fact-based news, entertainment and educational resources to Northern California and beyond. |
