You all know I’m a big fan of learning. There’s something motivating about it. I like to read books, attend conferences, and listen to podcasts and webinars on topics related to journalism and the markets I cover. I find webinars and podcasts particularly useful because they often feature practitioners and I get useful tidbits that I can apply to my work.
They’re also a good way to nurture a leadership pipeline in your workplace, as we see in our Recruitment & Retention story today. Employees who seek out webinars, podcasts and similar resources want to grow. I like to support this type of initiative.
So it’s in that spirit that I offer you the following list of SmartBrief webinars and podcasts that may be of relevance to you. I’m hosting a webinar today on personalized learning in education. If you know an educator, I exhort you to pass this link along to him or her. Our events take place at 2 p.m. Eastern time and are recorded for on-demand viewing.
What topics do you want to know more about? What challenges, issues and trends should we cover with these events and podcasts? Let me know! And if you enjoy this brief, tell others so they can benefit also.
