TCL’s giant 115-inch QM89 is the world’s largest 4K mini-LED TV
| The enormous TV will likely be the world's biggest when it hits the market later this year | TCL has unveiled the world’s largest mini-LED TV at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. The new QM89 is an absolutely massive 115-inch 4K, quantum dot mini-LED TV, and TCL announced it along with the rest of its 2024 TV lineup and 2024 soundbars. The Chinese tech firm hasn’t said when the QM89 will be available or how much this monster screen will cost, but we do know a few key features. For example, it deploys TCL’s newest backlight system known as QD Mini LED Ultimate, which sports 20,000 dimming zones, and as you’d expect, it also uses TCL’s latest image processor – the AIPQ Ultra Processor. Honda previews future EV lineup with '0 Series' concepts
| The automaker is bringing a new line of EVs to production in a couple of years' time, starting with a sleek sedan for North America | Honda is finally getting serious about EVs, using CES 2024 to announce an upcoming line called the 0 Series. The first two models in the series were unveiled in the form of a pair of concept cars. One is a van-like EV called the Space-Hub that comes with a panoramic glass roof, while the Saloon concept (pictured above) features a cheese-wedge shape that is almost supercar-like, but we’ll see if the dramatic styling carries over to the production version. RayNeo X2 smart specs feature 1,500-nit displays and a 12MP camera
| Attempts are underway to revive the Google Glass dream | It’s been a long time since Google Glass fell on its face, but at CES 2024, some advanced AR companies are attempting a revival of sorts. TCL-backed RayNeo, for example, has showcased its latest breakthrough in AR glasses with two new pairs: the RayNeo X2 and RayNeo X2 Lite, a two-ounce (60g) wearable that includes 1,500-nit displays, a 12MP camera, and AI with voice and image input. The RayNeo X2 will be available to consumers via Indiegogo in February, but the company brought it to CES early for show-and-tell.
