Bobby Jindal and other high-ranking folks announced what was considered then as a big catch for Lafayette: CGI and its goal of creating tech jobs in the region. Other tech companies came and went (remember Enquero?) but CGI has not only remained in Lafayette but has basically doubled its employee count and payroll. The company is celebrating the milestone.
