Face Painting by Fun Faces and Beyond and Satcie Berumen.

Sugar Skull decorating for the Kids

Traditional Mexican refreshments will be served

NEW!! Tree of Life Community

Organic Art Instillation

Since Pre-Columbian times Day of the Dead has been a crucial and influential way people chose to honor their loved ones and celebrate their lives.

This Month CHAC will be transforming our Large Sumac Tree of Heaven in our courtyard into a Community Tree of Life. This Is set for you the Community to Make this your own offering to a loved one, a symbol of remembrance to all of our loved ones who we wish to honor and share.

HOW IT WORKS

The Stage is set, A CHAC Representative will be here to help you.

All you have to do is bring an offering a candle, pictures, flowers, Food offerings etc.

You can make your own paper flowers , write a note anything you wish to honor your loved one with and attach it to the tree!

Get Creative- this is your opportunity to honor your loved ones with creativity, be respectful of space this is a community effort.

Hands on Face painting Workshop

with Stacie Berumen

Keep culture alive! Join us for this hands on workshop with Stacie Berumen so you can learn how to create your own colorful calavera faces for the upcoming Dia de Los Muertos festivities. Class includes demonstration and a hands on activity. Space is limited so please reserve your spot in advance by calling our Tiendita -303-571-0440." Saturday October 8th, 12:00 p.m -3:30 p.m. $35 per person.

Adults Sugar Skull Workshop!

Friday October 21st
at CHAC

Join us for our Adults Day of the Dead Workshop Friday October 21st. You will get to learn about the Day of the Dead get the chance to create a Catrina Doll and Paint a Sugar Skull yourself! This fun creative workshop includes an adult beverage an light finger foods with the $35 admission. Cash Bar available.

Kids Sugar Skull Workshop!

Join A festive Day of the Dead Workshop at CHAC Bring the kids along as we Learn About Sugar Skulls and their significance on Day of the Dead. Create your own to take home on this fun day of Sugar Skull Painting!
