It’s on to the next deal at embattled financial services outfit AMP. While AMP and Ares work to turn a heads of agreement into a signed deal, attention has turned to what’s left of AMP Capital.

The Ares deal is only for AMP Capital’s private markets businesses and tonight we unveil which ASX-listed investment manager has been stalking AMP Capital’s global equities and fixed income offerings.

Elsewhere, mid-market private equity group Odyssey Private Equity has inked its first deal in more than a year and we’ve got the details.

And finally, there’s a bunch of US software giants bidding for some federal government work, and US buyout fund Platinum Equity Partners has got some help on board as it works up a bid for Toll Global Express.
