Managing Conflict and Creating Safe Environments What happens when things aren't smooth sailing? Sporting clubs are a fantastic place for us to meet new people, form friendships and create and share experiences and memories with each other! However, like everything in life, sometimes problems can arise between people which can lead to further issues, preventing things from running too smoothly. Conflict is something that isn’t unordinary and can happen within sporting clubs with the varying opinions and factors that can create tension between coaches, athletes and parents.
To combat this, this Sports Community Webinar Series will provide you with all the information and knowledge you need to ensure if/when conflict occurs within your club, you have an understanding of how best to approach the situation to manage the conflict from escalating. This series will also provide an insight into creating an environment that promotes healthy relationships and protects the rights of everyone within the sporting club. - 31st May
