This is a one off FREE workshop. Places are limited, Register your spot below to avoid missing out.


Our workshop will teach you some simple strategies for making sure your
club members are as fit mentally as they are physically.

After all, sporting clubs are more than just a way to get exercise. They are
communities where we make friends, socialise and support each other.

Topics will include:
• How to recognise the signs of poor mental health
• Check in conversations
• Active listening
• How to get help

Face to Face:
When: Wednesday: 25th May
Time: 6-7.30pm
Where: Yangebup Community Centre (Main Hall)
Light Refreshments will be provided.

Making it easier to be a successful president & secretary


If you’ve recently been appointed president or secretary at your local club, it can often be a daunting experience without proper induction and training. Maybe you’ve been in the role for a while, but feel through this post pandemic environment, you could use some extra tips to get you back on track. 

There’s so much to know about how to be successful in your role, that’s why we are giving all affiliated clubs FREE access to the Sports Community 3-part webinar series ‘Making it easier to be a successful president and secretary’.

Volunteering WA Grant applications open this week. 

For projects that aim to reduce barriers and increase participation to volunteering

Volunteering WA is pleased to announce a new volunteer management project-based grant program, available for the 2022-23 financial year and beyond, until June 2026.

Applications open Wednesday 4 May and close 4:00pm Friday 27 May, 2022.
