What is the City's vision for the next 10 years?

We have a VISION for 2030 - to make Cockburn the best place to be. How are we going to achieve this? We're doing many things like:
  • Helping create a vibrant City centre in Cockburn Central
  • Supporting local businesses and local employment
  • Preserving and enhancing our bushlands and wetlands for generations to come
  • Assisting young people to gain employment.
Find out about other initiatives that we are/ will be implementing over the next 10 years to make Cockburn the best place to be.
The Stronger Communities Programme (SCP) Round 7 is now open to Expressions of Interest (EOI) from entities/organisations in the federal electorate of Fremantle.

Funding of between $2,500 and $20,000 may be sought for eligible small capital works that are aimed at increasing community participation.

Lodge your EOI submission before 5pm on Monday 22 November.
Sport Australia’s Game Plan is a digital platform designed to provide sporting clubs of all sizes with insights into their current capability and connect them with specific tools and resources to build and support ongoing development. It will replace the existing Club Health Check.

The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries invites members of the sport
and recreation industry to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to attend a Member Protection
Information Officer (MPIO) course.

This course is designed for people who wish to be a MPIO in a sport and recreation club or association and will provide participants with the skills to manage the complaint handling process within their organisation. All participants will be notified of the outcome of their expression of interest.
