The City of Cockburn is home to many elite athletes, past and present.

The Sports Hall of Fame recognises the achievements of many of these athletes, from a variety of sports, ranging from AFL to sailing, and acknowledges the junior Cockburn clubs they came from. 

City of Cockburn Sports Hall of Fame Inductees 2021

Three more champion athletes from three very different sports were inducted into the City of Cockburn’s Sports Hall of Fame at a ceremony on Monday, 24 June 2021 at the City's Administration Centre.

Congratulations to 

Soa Palelei – MMA
Brett Dorey – Cricket
Benjamin Rowe – Goalball

Additional Kidsport Voucher available from 1st July for eligible families

The original $150 funding is available through to 1 December 2021, with an additional $150 added on 1 July 2021.
Both vouchers may be used at the same club during the calendar year.

Vouchers can be issued for amounts over $150 where the child has available funding (e.g. up to $300 if they have not had a voucher in 2021).















Please encourage parents to only apply for the applicable registration fees for their child. 

Sports Community resources are free for all City of Cockburn sports clubs with the use of your club's individual log in. The following webinars are coming up in July:

Every community organisation understands how much they owe to the person who keeps track of the finances. The Commonwealth Bank Not-for-Profit Treasurers' Awards are designed to provide recognition for the valuable work that club treasurers provide.

2021 Not-for-Profit Treasurers' Awards


You can take part in the 2021 Not-for-Profit Treasurers' Awards in one of two ways:

a. Nominate your treasurer: A great way to show your appreciation, with all nominated treasurers receiving an official digital Certificate of Appreciation.

b. Nominate yourself as a not-for-profit treasurer: If you're a not-for-profit treasurer, share your insights for your chance to win one of four $5,000 cash donations for your not-for-profit.

Play For Purpose is an innovative fundraising solution, that rewards both clubs and supporters alike through Sport Australia.

This world-first fundraising raffle is free for clubs to participate in, and gives clubs access to large prize pools and powerful e-commerce technology, with no financial risk.

Play by the Rules Training

As of June 17 2021, the
Sport Integrity Australia Learning Management System will be co-branded with Play by the Rules courses in one place on the Sport Integrity Australia e-learning hub. 

This creates a single destination for all sporting organisations to access the appropriate educational materials and training to help keep sport safe, fair and inclusive.
