| | | Use plastic pegs on City parks and reserves If you are using a Council reserve and need to peg equipment into the ground – like soccer nets, baseball bases and marquees - please use plastics pegs. Metal pegs can generate dangerous, sharp shrapnel when mowed and can cause serious injuries. Fines may apply if you forget to collect them. If plastic pegs are not an option, please make sure the metal pegs are painted in a clearly visible colour, in contrast to the turf (i.e. not green). City sporting clubs can collect free plastic pegs from the City's Recreation Services team. Contact them on 08 9411 3444 or at recreation@cockburn.wa.gov.au |
