AT THE HEART OF THE DATA CENTER Impersonal, chilly, and safe from prying eyes, data centers protect everything we humans hold dear: our identity, our desires, our imagination.
All meticulously archived and ready to be combined with fresh data. Names, faces, and fingerprints are compiled and translated into row upon row of 0 and 1, all similar but never identical.
But this universal, infinite memory must also record the unexpected: lace combined with a digitally designed tweed, a cap worn with its visor jauntily to one side, a constantly changing pattern connected to a digital app. Or, dreaming big, the elegance of a silhouette, nods to the past, or whimsical styling... all things the machine must also learn to handle.
