Ring video doorbell owners must change this setting now
Web-connected cameras can be great security and monitoring tools that can help keep your home safe. They offer peace of mind and allow you to watch your home from wherever you are. But what if a hacker could take control of your cameras? That's what's happening around the country right now with a popular cam, and families are being terrorized in their own homes.
Your home address could be exposed through video doorbell app, report says
Ring's line of video doorbells have been a hit since their initial release. The smart home gadget is in more homes than ever, which has allowed the company to build an infrastructure of cameras it can share with law enforcement if need-be. But where there are cameras, there are people watching. What information can criminals get from your Ring doorbell? More than you might expect.
