Springtime songstresses

What up, Doe? As my friends from Detroit would say, I’m texting one right now. No relation to the newsletter topic whatsoever LOL.

Since this is the last newsletter not in our Women in Tech and STEM History series, we figured we’d take it easy and give you a couple of songs to listen to.They're about tech and computers, and largely written and performed by women (with a few honorable mentions by some men, too):

  • "Bionic" by Christina Aguilera
  • "Appletree" by Erykah Badu
  • "Video Games" by Lana Del Rey
  • "Artificial Intelligence" by Imogen Heap
  • "Digital" by Brandy
  • "Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai (ft. Jay Kay)
  • "Data Love" by Terrace Martin (ft. Uncle Chucc & The Emotions)
  • “Dot Com” by Usher
  • "Computer Blue" by Prince
  • And, obviously, "Computer Love" by Zapp & Roger. (Did y’all know there was a remix by Lil’ Kim? I didn’t.)

Enjoy your weekend!
