Meet the Speakers:

Jonathan LaFleur, BSN, RN, CCS, has more than 16 years of healthcare experience, both at the bedside and in HIM. Prior to joining HRS, LaFleur worked in several emergency departments and as a charge nurse in the medical ICU at a Level I teaching hospital. He has since worked in clinical documentation improvement (CDI) as both a CDI specialist and analyst, and he has performed audits for hospitals throughout the country.
 
 
Kimberly Janet Carr, RHIT, CCS, CDIP, CCDS, AHIMA-approved ICD-10-CM/PCS trainer, is the clinical documentation director for HRS and has nearly 30 years of HIM experience. Carr’s background includes revenue cycle improvement, coding and compliance, CDI education, and denials management in a variety of provider environments and consultant settings.
