For his efforts, he bagged a cool $15K, as well as bragging rights for owning one of the largest gourds in the world. Leonardo Urena, the grower, claims his secret is the fact that he talks to his pumpkins and gently encourages them to grow. Maybe I should try that with my bank accountâ¦
