Have your wine and eat your cheese, too! A match made in culinary heaven, award-winning Sartori Merlot BellaVitano® is a unique creation. The cheese is crafted by soaking wheels of Original BellaVitano® in merlot. It boasts an edible red rind with fruity notes of berry and plum, highlighting the creamy richness of the cheese. “Even after packaging, flavor migration from the merlot continues…allowing the bold merlot to enhance but not overpower the cheese, which is the true star,” says Master Cheesemaker Pam Hodgson.

Meet the Visionary: Huma Siddiqui-Seitz

White Jasmine's founder and co-owner, Huma Siddiqui-Seitz, combined the exotic spices she loved from Pakistan with Wisconsin’s rich cheese heritage to create a cheese for every spice lover. "When I came to Wisconsin, I was fascinated to learn about the hundreds of cheeses made here,” says Huma. “We tried different varieties of cheeses. But gouda seems to hold the flavors and integrity of spices the best.” Huma recommends starting with milder Cilantro Gouda before graduating to Tandoori Gouda, a smoky creation with 13 different spices that'll enliven your taste buds.
